Haunting, halting, strangely beautiful and aggressive in parts... unyielding even. Dimensional Anchor is the song in the background as reality tears apart and you just have to hold on to something, ANYTHING. This track makes extensive use of saturation and shaping with tight aggressive kick patterns that extend into the sub-bass region. This mix is the abbreviated version of the song that does not include the portal collapse at the end.

For this music I used a Gameboy ... but why a Game Boy ? because I find this machine fascinating and that it was a good exercise for the ''restriction'' because it comprises a chip which gives us the right to 4 channels among which 2 square waves a wave channel in order to import samples as in this music (there are samples of the TR-808 which were ''degraded'' in 4 bits for the definition of the samples) and to finish of the white noise to be transformed like the tortured spirit of a small cat who makes anything

"Broken cassette is a track made by instinct, without any rule, nor aesthetic judgment. It's a bit my vision of IDM... When Jerome came to me and told me about his cassette project I immediately found it exciting. I created this track with this idea of a cassette that turns, that stops, that bugs, that lives ! Like an old cassette found in an old box in an attic... Imperfect but still in working order. Long life to the LOF Crew label and thanks to Jerome for his precious advice."
